Ruby Diann Hamil

Ms. Ruby Diann Hamil, age 71, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Thursday, July 18th, 2019 at her daughter’s residence in LaGrange, Georgia. She was born on February 19th, 1948 in Langdale, Alabama.

     Ms. Hamil is survived by her children, Jo Ann Manley Soine (Patrick) and Joseph Harold Manley (Angela); her grandchildren, Kaylee Austin Manley, Kristen Leann Manley, Joseph Andrew Manley, Brandy Jo Smith Hommes, Crimson Nichole Manley, Kathrynia Sharie Manley, Autumn Shy Smith, and Rhyannon Amber Adreanna Manley; her fourteen great grandchildren; her siblings, Mickey Eugene Hamil, Angela Hamil Collier, and Pamela Hamil Byrd.

     She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Lemirle Foster; her father, Edgar Earl Hamil; her brother, Jerry Ray Hamil.

     Ms. Hamil was a retired employee of West Point Pepperell. She enjoyed cooking, watching Alabama Football and the Food Network, and listening to Elvis and Conway Twitty. She loved her cats and her favorite color was purple.

     Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 20th, 2019 at 11:00 AM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. The Reverend Joshua Hommes will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10:00 AM (EST) until the service hour at the funeral home.
