Steven F. Sherman Obituary

Steven F. Sherman, age 55, of Lanett, Alabama, died on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama.

He was born on March 6, 1963 in West Point, New York to Donald and Maxene Sherman. Steven was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and a graduate Avila University holding a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.

He is survived by his three children, Don (Jennifer) Sherman, Jacob Sherman and Hannah Sherman; three grandchildren, Joshua, Caleb, and Aliyah Sherman; his sister, Becky (Mike) Gravitt, and two nieces, Kristin Gravitt and Megan Gravitt.

Steven’s family and friends will come together for a graveside service at Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett, Alabama at 3pm EST on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery.
