Susan C. Oliver

     Mrs. Susan C. Oliver, 70, of Stillwaters, AL passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 14, 2019.

     She is survived by her husband, Rick Oliver, her sister, Judy Colley Richardson, her children, Todd Oliver (Donna), Deanna Yates (Jamie), Karla Roughton (Tommy) and Kelli Morton (Neil); 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many other special family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis C. and Winnie Mae Colley and her brothers, Charles and Buddy Colley.

     She was born in Langdale, AL on March 16, 1949. She worked for West Point Stevens for 41 years and retired from East Alabama Medical Center in 2011. Mrs. Oliver and her husband moved to Lake Martin in 1999 and are active members of Red Ridge United Methodist Church.

     Visitation will be at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, AL on Friday, Aug 16th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EST.

     A memorial service will be held at Red Ridge United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11 am CST with the Rev. Vicki Carter officiating.. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, starting at 10 am CST.

     Graveside services will be held at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett, AL on Aug 17th at 4:00 pm EST with the Rev. Vicki Cater officiating.

     In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made in Mrs. Oliver’s name to a charity of your choice.
