Mr. Tracy Shaw, age 76, of Lanett, AL passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.

     Mr. Shaw is survived by his wife of 55 years, Glenda Smith Shaw; his three children, Mac (Kim) Shaw of Five Points, AL, Denise Shaw (Kevin) Bibb of Five Points, AL, and Christie (David) Payne of Lanett, AL; his eight grandchildren, Brennon Shaw, Carson Shaw, Noah Hammett, Anna Hammett, Erica Sweatt, Erin (Brandon) Haynes, Jeremy Payne, and Trey (Megan) Payne; his three great grandchildren, Gage, Emery, Ezra; and a host of nieces and nephews.

     Mr. Shaw was born on March 27, 1941 in West Point, GA. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing and making people laugh. He never met a stranger. He greatly enjoyed his years driving a school bus for Chambers County. He loved spending time with his family, especially his children.

     A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. A visitation will be held at the family home following the service.
