Agnes Lenora Wood

   Mrs. Agnes L. (Smith) Wood, 85, of Valley, died October 30, 2025, at 8:15 A.M. 

   Born October 24, 1940, in Sylacauga, Alabama. Mrs. Wood was the daughter of the late Otis Charles and Lizzie Della Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband Dorsey Ray Wood, and brothers, Delmar Smith and Terry Smith.

   Mrs. Wood is survived by four children, Sherri W. Foster, Gregory W. Wood, Sharon D Wood and Gerald W. Wood; brother; Kenneth Smith; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren. She was a member of West End Baptist Church, Valley, Alabama.

   Graveside services for Mrs. Wood will be held on Monday, November 3rd, 2025, at 11:00 AM (EDT) at Harmony Memorial Park Cemetery in Lanett, Alabama. Interment will follow in Harmony Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Wood's family will receive friends Monday, November 3rd, 2025, from 10:00 to 10:40 AM (EDT) for visitation at the Johnson Brown-Service in Valley, Alabama.
