Anthony Seth Carmack Obituary

Anthony Seth Carmack was born April 26, 2003 in Opelika, Alabama. He passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024.

Seth is survived by his parents, Mary and Vance Kilgore, two brothers, Dylan (Haley) and Bryar Kilgore, sister, Ashley Templeton (Heath), two nieces, Rylan and Ava Templeton, nephew, Eli Templeton, grandparents, Ray and Paulette Kilgore, his birth mother, April Carmack and his extended family members including Ethan, Emery, Christi Sutton, and Michael Gunkel.  He also has several aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as a plethora of friends – too many to list.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobby and Sherry Ray and Tony Carmack.

Seth was a 2021 graduate of Beulah High School graduating with academic honors. He joined the Army National Guard in the fall of 2022.  PFC Carmack, Signal Operations Support Specialist was a member of the Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 231st Military Police Battalion in Prattville, Alabama.

Seth was a brilliant young man! He taught himself to play the guitar and started a band, the “Southern Six Shooters.  Seth was especially fond of music with his own style.

We all have so many memories of Seth and his many shenanigans.  We would like to invite all family and friends to join us in a Celebration of Life Service for Seth on Monday, January 29, 2024 at the Cusseta Event Center. Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. CST until 5:00 P.M. CST with a brief prayer and a time that we hope you will share your most fond memories of Seth, while we honor him and play his favorite music.

The family requests that memorial donations be made in Seth’s memory to the JED Foundation at https://jedfoundation.org/ or smaller green plants or fresh cut flowers will be graciously accepted.
