Arthur Richard Perryman

Mr. Arthur Richard Perryman, age 91, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at his residence. 

Mr. Perryman was born on January 8, 1930 in Langdale, Alabama to the late Arthur Perryman and Francis White Perryman.  He was also preceded in death by his sister, Faye Smith, and brother, Bobby Perryman.  

He was a United States veteran who proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  He served in the Korean War. 

After his return home from the war, he was an Industrial Engineer at West Point Stevens. After his retiring from West Point Stevens, Mr. Perryman worked part-time at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home. He was a very active member of Plant City Baptist Church. 

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Perryman; his children and their spouses, Jenny (Charles) Shaddix, Steve (Linda) Perryman; grandchildren, Chrissy Shaddix (Tim Throop), Timothy Perryman, Lauren (Robert) Moreman; great-grandchildren, Charles Moreman, Madison Moreman, Steven Moreman, John Moreman.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 2:00P.M. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley.  Interment will follow in Johnson Memorial Gardens.  His family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00P.M. EDT until 8:00P.M. EDT. The Reverend Brad Reed and the Reverend Randall Hamer officiating.
