Betty Walls Obituary

Mrs. Betty Walls, age 87, of Decatur, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, May 11th, 2021 at the EAMC Lanier Nursing Home in Valley, Alabama. She was born on February 16th, 1934 in Dover, Tennessee to the late Ray and Orlean Stavley.

Mrs. Walls is survived by her daughter, Wanda (Jesse) Bailey; brother, Dennis (Vanetta) Stavely; sister-in-law, Nina Stavley; granddaughters, Kelly Kater, Tracy (James) Smith, and Rachel (Jason) Wallace; great granddaughter, Zoey Riemke.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Walls; brothers, Norman, Marlin, Marvin, and Larry Stavely.

Mrs. Walls was an avid painter and seamstress who loved arts and crafts.

No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org, in her memory.
