Brad McDaniel Obituary

     Mr. Brad McDaniel, loving son, husband, and father, died on June 27th, 2021, at East Alabama Medical Center at the age of 55. Brad was born in Eufaula, Alabama on September 20th, 1965, and lived in Valley, Alabama at the time of his passing.

     Brad is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Leisha Fuller McDaniel; his children, Ashley (Anthony) Jacobs, Blake (Cassidi) McDaniel, and Brittany (Andrew) Barber; grandchildren, Allyssa, Piper, Judith, and Gracie Jacobs and Austin and Ava Barber; mother, Marsha Piper McDaniel (Dean) Blackstock; brothers, Gregory D. (Brie) McDaniel and R. Allen (Linda) McDaniel, III; numerous nieces and nephews and his devoted pup, Milo.

     He was preceded in death by his father, R. Allen McDaniel, Jr.

     A man of faith who loved the Lord, Brad was a family man who liked grilling and spending time with his loved ones. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed participating in his bass club. He also loved fishing with his wife, son, and grandchildren. Brad was a skilled person who could make or repair most anything and could often be found tinkering in his workshop.

     Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 30th, 2021, at 2:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. The Reverend Steve York will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org, in his memory.
