Brenda Carroll Parrish

   Brenda Carroll Parrish, 74, of Valley, AL passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at East Alabama Medical Center, Opelika. Brenda was born in Valley, Alabama, on March 15, 1952, to the late J. D. and Iona Carroll.

   She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Michael A. Parrish, children Kim and Clay Shane, Jennifer and Mike Marquette, and Kelli and Chuck Rudd. Grandchildren Megan and Casey McCormick, Will Gradic, Michael Marquette, Trevor Rudd, Gracie Wilkerson and Eli Rudd, Kelsie Shane, Caden Shane, and great grandson, Noah McCormick and sister-in-law, Marilyn Williams and brother-in-law, John Norris. Also survived by special cousins, Loretta Cofield and Jan Greer, and close family friend, Deborah Wilkerson.

   She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda Norris.

   Mrs. Parrish worked for WestPoint Pepperell for over 35 years then enjoyed a career as a Pharmacy Tech at Fairfax Drug Store for many years until her retirement.

   Mrs. Parrish was a member of Langdale Methodist Church, where she actively participated in the Acts Sunday school class.

   A special thank you to East Alabama Health for their outstanding compassion and care. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Langdale Methodist Church or Acts Sunday school class.

   Funeral services for Brenda will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. (EDT) at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, Alabama. The Pastor Todd Owen will be officiating. Interment will follow at Johnson Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Brenda's family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, June 25,2026, from 1:30 p.m. (EDT) until the service hour at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, Alabama.
