  Brett Michael Chappell, 31, of Valley, Alabama, passed away on, Sunday, October 12, 2025. Brett was born, March 16, 1994, in Opelika, Alabama.

  Survivors include, mother, Mandy Barber (Jamie), brother, Jamie Chappell (Shelby), maternal grandmother, Reeba Raughton, paternal grandparents, Charles Chappell (Mary), Jessi Magbee (Allen), nephew, Jamison Chappell, uncles, Ray Raughton (Jennifer), Billy Raughton, Lee Chappell (Stephanie), great aunt, Beverly Toland (Frank), stepbrother, Conner Barber, stepmother, Alana Chappell, and many cousins.

  Preceded in death by, father, Frankie, maternal grandfather, Bill Raughton, stepbrother, Josh Barber.

  A funeral service will be held, Friday, October 17, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. (EST) in the Chapel of Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, Alabama with Pastor Mike Newman and Chaplain Nathan Lawrence officiating. 

  Visitation will be held at the funeral home, Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. (EST).
