Carol Huddleston

     Mrs. Carol Huddleston, age 75, of LaFayette, Alabama passed away on October 31st, 2023 in Opelika, Alabama. She was born on March 28th, 1948 in Clearwater, Florida to the late John and Edna Robinson of LaFayette.

     Carol is survived by her husband of over 55 years, Rod Huddleston; sons, Jason Huddleston (Barbra) and Patrick Huddleston (Mary); grandson, Joey Huddleston; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

     Funeral services for Carol will be held on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 at 2:00 PM (EDT) at the graveside in Fredonia United Methodist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the church following the service.

     Carol was a devoted wife and cherished mother, whose love and sense of humor brightened the lives of all who knew her. She was an avid reader with eclectic tastes in music and art. She found immense joy in her beloved cats over the years and loved exploring the world of movies — an interest she shared with her family. Her deep appreciation for nature and whimsical things kept her heart forever young. She will be deeply missed, but her love, laughter, and warmth will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
