Cheryl "Sherry" Reed

     Cheryl “Sherry” Reed, 87, of Lanett passed away Monday May 18th at Bethany House in Auburn.  She was born June 17, 1932 to the late Denson and Louise Mobley.

     She is survived by her children Debbie (Dave) Windham of Woodstock GA and Brad (Virginia) Reed of Lanett.  Grandchildren Trey (Lisa) Reed of Newnan GA, Jennifer (Paul) Sposito of Woodstock GA and David Windham of Denver CO.  Great grandchildren A.J., Ansley and Nyeka Reed of Newnan GA and Ava & Ella Sposito of Woodstock GA.

     She was preceded in death by her husband Lamar and her son Norman.

     “Miss Sherry” was a homemaker and worked alongside her husband Lamar at Red’s Pharmacy in Lanett for many years.  She hosted ladies Bible studies in her home and was a wonderful Sunday School teacher.  She was a member of Plant City Baptist Church.

     A private family gathering is planned at the graveside.

     The family will be forever grateful to Amber Griggs and the staff of Valley Park Manor, the staff at EAMC and Bethany House.

     In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Plant City Baptist Church 2001 E First Street, Lanett AL  36863.
