Christy Jones Williams

     Christy Jones Williams, was born on July 10, 1978, in Alexandria, Virginia, and passed away on November 11, 2023, in Valley, Alabama.

     She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Christy was the wife to Wade Williams and a loving mother to her children, Garrett Paschal, Claudia Dobson, and Weston Williams. She was the beloved daughter of James B. Jones and Judith Ann Raby. She was the cherished sister of Danny Jones, Wendy Danford (Tony), and Angel White (Anthony). She was also a dear niece to her aunt, Ethelda Fuller. She was a respected daughter-in-law to Sheila Bass and Billy Williams (Charlotte), and sister-in-law to Wendy Sapp. Christy's love extended to a host of other family members who will remember her fondly.

     She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lila Thornton.

     Christy was a former employee of Liberty National Life Insurance. She started as an agent and, through her hard work and dedication, rose to the rank of National Worksite Trainer. Her colleagues admired her for her professionalism, commitment, and friendly demeanor.

     Christy had a passion for the outdoors. She loved hiking and exploring nature, finding peace and tranquility in the beauty of the natural world. She also had a love for music, often combining her love for the outdoors with her love for music. Christy found joy in working outdoors, whether it was tending to her garden or simply enjoying the fresh air.

     One of Christy's favorite places was the beach, especially Pensacola Beach, where she loved to spend time with her husband, Wade. The beach was a place of relaxation and rejuvenation for Christy, a place where she could unwind and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

      Christy had a larger than life personality that was full of laughter and joy.  She loved to make people laugh and had a way of connecting with people everywhere she went. She had a heart full of love and a spirit full of joy. Her friendly nature made her a joy to be around. She had a way of making everyone feel special and loved. Her positive energy and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

     Christy Jones Williams lived a life full of love. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished daughter, and a dear friend. Her life was a testament to her loving nature spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones. May her soul rest in peace.

     A memorial service will be held for Christy on Saturday, November 18th, 2023, at 2:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley.  The Reverend Rusty Letson will officiate.
