Dana Jean Ray Johnson Obituary

Mrs. Dana Jean Ray Johnson, age 72, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Monday, April 11th, 2022 at her residence.

Dana was born on July 7th, 1949 in Langdale, Alabama. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Riverview. She worked for West Point Pepperell for over 30 years at the Riverview and Fairfax Mills and later at Briggs and Stratton in Opelika, Alabama.

Dana is survived by her husband, Jackie Lamar Johnson; son, Chris Martin; sister, Iris Downs; brothers, Guy Ray, Jr. and Frank Ray; one grandchild and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Johnnie Pearl Ray; and son, Paul Martin.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 15th, 2022 at 2:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. The Reverend Rusty Letson will officiate. Dana’s family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1:00 PM (EST) until the service hour at the funeral home.
