Darlaine Story Walker

   Darlaine Story left her earthly life for her heavenly home on Thursday, November 27, 2025. She joined her parents, Henry and Marie Story, and siblings, Dwayne Story Sydelle Story. She is survived by her two children; Danielle "Dani" (Michael Shelnutt) Little and Anthony "Tony" (Leigh Ann) Jackson, grandchildren; Jordan, Jami and Katelyn; great grandchildren, Zoey and Skye; sister, Denise (Larry) Philpott; and loving nieces and nephews.

   Darlaine was born June 12, 1953, a shared birthday with her father, Henry Story, in Langdale, Alabama. She was a graduate of Valley High School and attended Southern Union Community College in Valley, Alabama. Darlaine was a homemaker, world's best holiday dressing maker, and beloved Nanny to her grandchldren, neices, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors.

   The family will be receiving friends Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM (EST) followed by a funeral service in the sanctuary of Calvary Baptist Church.
