David J. Brand

     Mr. David J. Brand, age 78, of Valley, Alabama passed away at home on Tuesday, August 4th, 2020. He was born on May 18th, 1942 in Rock Mills, Alabama.

     Mr. Brand is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sandra Brand; his son, Tim (Kathy) Brand; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Tyson, Emma, Angel, and Ivie; his sister, Betty Jean Guilford.

     He was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Brand.

     Mr. Brand attended Three Pines Independent Church. He was a good Christian man who loved his family and helped anyone he could. He enjoyed spending time in the woods, fishing, and reading his Bible.

     Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 7th, 2020 at 11:00 AM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The Reverend Wayne Prickett will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:00 AM (EDT) until the service hour at the funeral home.
