Debra Belcher Obituary

     Mrs. Debra Harper Belcher passed away February 25th, 2021 at EAMC Opelika. She was born December 26th, 1959 in LaFayette, AL to the late Harold and Annie Pearl Harper. She was a 1977 graduate of Lanett High School. She was a retired employee of the Law Department at the General Offices of West Point Pepperell.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eddie Belcher; and son, Brandon James.

     She is survived by three grandchildren, Tristan, Braylon, and Alicia James; brothers, Carey Harper (Carol), Waymon Harper (Faye), and Greg Harper (Sharon); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

     Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 1st, 2021 at 2:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. The Reverend Greg Harper will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 1:00 PM (EST) until the service hour at the funeral home.

     Due to Covid-19 masks and social distancing will be required.
