Delvie Lee Taylor Parker, 77, passed away, Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in Auburn, Alabama.
Delvie was born, July 27, 1947, in Lake Providence, Louisiana, to the late Bently Taylor and Violet Cantrell Taylor.
Delvie was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. After her retirement she loved to spend time with her family.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by, husband, Chester R. Parker; siblings, Linda Gouthiere, Kenneth Taylor, Betty Floyd, Donna Reynolds, Roy Taylor, and Connie Avant .
Survivors include, children, Deborah Crowder (Paul), Cathy Johnson; grandchildren, Michael Johnson (Halee), Will Crowder (Kaitlyn), Matthew Crowder (Charity), Morgan Crowder (Isaac); great grandchildren, Jack Johnson, Charlee Johnson; sisters, Carol Huddleston, Shelby Ellzey; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held, 2:30 P.M. (EST), Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Chapel of Johnson Brown - Service Funeral Home in Valley, Alabama. Pastor Lenny Sledge will officiate.
Interment will follow in Johnson Memorial Gardens in Valley, Alabama.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. (EST) Friday, July 18, 2025, at the funeral home.
