Donald Eugene "Donnie" Moore

     Mr. Donald Eugene “Donnie” Moore, age 60, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Thursday, March 11th, 2021 at the EAMC Lanier Hospital in Valley. He was born on September 9th, 1960 in Hazelhurst, Mississippi to the late Richard E. Moore, Sr. and Joyce Earlene Moore.

     Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Janice H. Moore; son, Bert (Angi) Saylor; daughter, Donna LeeAnn Moore; grandchildren, Spencer and Hunter Saylor and Necole King; great grandchildren, Makenzlie Holloway and Slade Saylor; siblings, Carolyn Coker, Richard E. (Janet) Moore, Jr., and Diane (Bit) Getter, Gail Edwards; five nieces and five nephews; three great nieces and four great nephews; lifelong friends, Gary and Carol Kent.

     He was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Estella Feld; and brother-in-law, Jimmy Coker.

     Mr. Moore was the youngest of four children. He enjoyed being outside and watching sunsets. He loved his two dogs Rebel and Freedom. He was very family oriented and was a loving grandfather.

     A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 17th, 2021 at 2:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Pastor Stephen Grubbs will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 PM (EST) until the service hour at the funeral home.

     Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org, in his memory.
