On the morning of July 22nd, 2024, Donivon Keith Jennings passed away peacefully from liver disease at WellStar Hospice in LaGrange Georgia. He was 57 years old.
Keith, as most knew him by, was born February 22nd, 1967, in Langdale, Alabama to Ronald Rickey Jennings and Katherine Shirley (Cotney) Jennings. He began working at a young age learning electrical work with West Point Pepperell. He had a natural talent for music and was able to share that with people playing with bands like Gunner and The Southern All-Stars. As he got older, he started his own businesses, working on cars, small engines, and electrical contracting.
Keith had a love for all animals, at one point housing large cat rescues and various other wildlife. His favorite dog Bender spent many years at his side while he worked at job sites. He was also well known on the internet for his Bigfoot research in Alabama through the North American Primate//Hominid Research Organization.
Keith was proceeded in death by his mother, Katherine Shirley Mann, grandparents SJ Cotney and Katherine Smith of Lanett, and DeWitt and Geraleen Jennings of Valley. He is survived by his wife, Deanna Stroer Jennings, Father Ronald Rickey Jennings, sister Melanie Jennings Belyeu, children Mark Jennings, Ashley Jennings, Chris Jennings, Brandon Jennings, Madison Jennings Hall, three stepchildren, two nephews, and many grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 10th at 2PM EDT at Happy Valley Baptist Church, 1623 49th Ave SW, Lanett, AL 36863. The family would love to hear stories of Keith as part of the celebration.
