Emily Marie Sorrells

Emily Marie Sorrells, 38 years old, of Valley, Alabama, passed away, Wednesday, January 28, 2026, in Opelika, Alabama.

Emily is preceded in death by, her late husband, Jody Sorrells, father, Melvin A. Pitts "Jack", and brother, Chuck Pitts.

Survivors included, husband, Joshua Patterson, mother, Dolores Pitts, sons, Michael Sorrells and Dylan Sorrells, step-children, Skylar Ragland, Allysa Jaylin Sorrells, brother, Michael Shane Pitts, sister-in-law, Laci White, two grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held, 2:00 P.M. (EST), Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Midway Baptist Church in Valley, Alabama

Visitation with Emily's family will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. (EST).
