Mrs. Emma Louann Templeton, age 69, of Valley, Alabama passed away at her home on Sunday, April 1st, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born on March 15, 1949.
Mrs. Templeton was a Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed singing, listening to gospel music and old country music. She loved sitting outside, watching all of her many farm animals.
Mrs. Templeton is survived by her husband, Jerry Templeton; daughter, Becky (Jason) Earles; son Rev. Larry Bo (Lynn) Hurley; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and a host of many nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Mrs. Templeton was preceded in death by her parents, Troy & Hagar Blakley; children, Molly Hurley, Dinky Roberts, Tina Pugh, and Wendell Kellum; sister, Lina Daniel; brothers, Bill Blakley, Charles Blakley, Jim Blakley, Pearless Blakley, and Johnny Blakley.
Mrs. Templeton was loved and will be truly missed by many. Services will be held at Wallace Chapel Baptist Church, 7444 Hwy 29 N, Cusseta AL, 36852, on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 12:00 Noon EDT. The Reverend Larry Bo Hurley, the Reverend Aaron Pruitt, and the Reverend Lee Pike officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM EDT at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
