Faye Pigg Beck

     Faye Pigg Beck, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on the 8th of February 2025, at the age of 95, in Phenix City, Alabama. Born on November 9, 1929, in Langdale, Alabama, Faye's lifetime was a testament to her unwavering kindness and loving nature.

     Faye was affectionately known for her kind heart, always placing others before herself, and was especially devoted to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love and selflessness that deeply touched all who knew her. Her son, Mickey Beck, and his wife, Tana; her grandsons, Russell, Tyler, and Carson Beck; her sister, Mary Ray; her brother, Charles Pigg and his special friend, Linda Williamson; as well as her cherished nephews, Terry Ray, Nathan, Jackie, Byron, and Alan Pigg, are among the family members who will fondly remember her nurturing spirit. She also leaves behind numerous special great-nephews and nieces who were graced with her perpetual care and affection.

     Before her passing, Faye was reunited in eternity by her husband, Homer "Ralph" Beck, her sisters, Katherine Butts and Patricia Pigg, and her parents, Herman and Gladys Pigg.

     A dedicated member of Pine Grove Church in Opelika, Alabama, Faye's faith was an integral part of her life. She relished in celebrating birthdays and holidays, making each occasion special with her presence.

     Her work and community life were marked by the same care and attention she gave to her family. In every interaction, Faye exuded kindness and love. Faye's memory will forever be cherished as a beacon of selflessness and compassion, inspiring all who had the privilege of knowing her.

     Funeral services for Faye will be held on Wednesday, February 12th, 2025, at 3:00 PM (EST) / 2:00 PM (CST) at Pine Grove Church in Opelika, Alabama. Interment will follow in Harmony Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend Ricky Thomaston will officiate. Faye’s family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon at the church from 2:00 PM (EST) / 1:00 PM (CST) until the service hour.

     In lieu of flowers Faye’s family asks that donations be made to the church in her memory, Pine Grove Church, Attn: Church Treasurer, 7235 US Highway 29 North, Opelika, AL, 36804.
