Floyd Wayne Faught, Sr., age 79, of West Point, Georgia passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021, at his residence.
Mr. Faught was born in Jasper, Alabama on February 3, 1942, to the late John Floyd Faught and Josie Beck Faught. He was also preceded in death by his wife Jean Cowan Faught and a son Neal Wayne Faught.
Mr. Faught proudly served his country in the United State Army.
He later worked as a law enforcement officer for the cities of West Point, Lafayette, and LaGrange. After working as a LEO, he opened his own business Southland Heating & Air.
Mr. Faught spent most of his time working, but in his spare time he enjoyed walking around West Point Lake.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 2:00P.M. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley with interment following in Marseilles Cemetery in West Point, Georgia. His family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00P.M. EDT until 7:00P.M. EDT.
He is survived by his sons, Floyd Wayne Faught, Jr. (Belinda), Max Ray Faught (Tina); daughter, Lisa; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
