Gloria Gay Bryan

     Ms. Gloria Gay Bryan, age 75, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, February 17th, 2021 at the EAMC Lanier Hospital in Valley, Alabama. She was born on August 25th, 1945 in Florida to the late James and Mary Maddox.

     Ms. Bryan is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Travis) Murphy; grandchildren, James (Leah) Murphy, Nicole (Nathan) Stobaugh, Amber Murphy, Amanda Templeton, Joshua Murphy, and Markie Seaton; nine great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Willene Maddox; close friend, Mary Lou Dabbs.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Janet Seaton; brothers, Hugh Maddox and Mike Maddox; and one great grandchild.

     Ms. Bryan was a people person who enjoyed making others laugh. She was a waitress for many years in the community. She loved animals, especially her dog, CoCo and her cat, Katie.

     Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 22nd, 2021 at 2:00 PM (EST) at the graveside in Resthaven Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 1:30 PM (EST) until the service hour in the cemetery.
