Gwendolyn Velma Browning Richardson

Gwendolyn Velma (Browning) Richardson, 80, of Lanett died Friday, August 14, 2020, at Bethany House in Auburn Al.

A private service will be held Tuesday, August 18, at Hillcrest Cemetery with the Reverend Rusty Letson officiating.

Born March 19, 1940, in Rock Mills, AL, Ms. Richardson was of strong Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with her family. 

Ms. Richardson is survived by two sons, Rusty (Michelle) Richardson, Lanett; Barry (Fran) Richardson, Lanett and brother, Harvey (Martha) Browning, Cusseta; four granddaughters, Heather (Jason) Bono, Carrollton, GA; Nicole (TJ) Coleman, Tallassee; Beth Richardson, Lanett; Brandy Richardson, Lanett; grandson, Bryan Richardson, Lanett; and great-granddaughter, Tinsley Coleman, Tallassee.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Perry Browning; sisters, Mary Duck and Virginia Smith; and nephew, Hugh Smith.

She was a waitress at the White House Restaurant for 18 years.
