Mr. Henry “Paw Paw” Yarbrough, age 89, of Valley, Alabama passed away on December 11th, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on December 17th, 1935, in Macon County, Alabama to the late Richard and Georgia Mae Yarbrough.
Henry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley Yarbrough; daughters, Kecia Hill (Tom) and Evonda Langley (William); seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeff Dunson; and sister, Jayne Yarbrough.
Henry was a member of The Bridge Church Beulah. He was an employee of Uniroyal for many years while also being a farmer. Following his retirement from Uniroyal he became a full-time farmer who loved his cows.
Funeral services for Henry will be held on Sunday, December 14th, 2025, at 2:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Pastor Bill Bryan will officiate. Interment will follow in Garden Hills Cemetery in Opelika, Alabama. Henry’s family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM (EDT) until the service hour.
