Mrs. Jackie Sands, age 69, of the Lake Harding Community passed away on Monday, July 13th, 2020 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama.
Jackie was born in Langdale, Alabama on July 19th, 1950 to the late James Jackson Baty and Mary Nell Dabbs Baty. She was also preceded in death by a son Brandon Lee Bozeman.
Jackie was a member of the Rocky Mount Baptist Church – The Church at Lake Harding. She loved her church family and loved to sing in the church.
She worked in as a hairdresser in the Valley area for several years where she met many people and many friends over the years. Jackie was a selfless and loving person.
She enjoyed watching her son, Ayden, play all sports, especially baseball and was always willing to support the efforts of the teams in any way she could.
She is survived by her husband, Jud Sands; daughter, Kerrie Maranville; son, Ayden Sands; sister, Cleo Booth; granddaughter, Ashley Abney.
Due to the current social gathering restrictions, funeral services will be private.
