James "Jamie" Eugene Bolt Obituary

Mr. James “Jamie” Eugene Bolt, age 58, of the Lake Harding Community and Valley passed away on Sunday, December 29th, 2019 in Lawrence, Mississippi.

Mr. Bolt was born in Winter Park, Florida on March 5th, 1961 to the late James Charles Bolt and Donna Mae Church Bolt.  He was also preceded in death by his two siblings, Thamatha Skipper and Matthew Bolt.

Mr. Bolt served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

He was employed as an accountant by Shirley Marie’s Accounting Service in Phenix City, Alabama.

He loved the lake life on Lake Harding and was an avid University of Alabama football fan.

He was a kind and generous man who would help anyone in need.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Bolt; children, Robert (Angie) Alexander, William Alexander, Brad (Ashley) Bolt; grandchildren, Robbie and Ashley Alexander; siblings, Gregg (Leann) Bolt, Marie (Taylor) Griffin, Glynn (Kay) Bolt, Shane Bolt, Vernon (Carla) Bolt, David Bolt, Gideon Moody, Carey Moody, James Moody; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in his memory to the Columbus Hospice or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Services will be held on Friday, January 3rd, 2020 at 12:30 P.M. EST at the Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, Alabama.
