Jamie Ellen Boss Humphrey-Wilson

     It is with a profound sense of respect and admiration that we celebrate the life of Mrs. Jamie Ellen Boss Humphrey-Wilson, fondly known as Jamie, who was born on October 19, 1962, in California, and passed away on July 28, 2023, in Opelika, Alabama. Jamie's life was a testament to the power of living in the moment, embracing the beauty of nature, and the joy of giving generously to others.

     Jamie was a woman of many talents and interests. She was an artist at heart, finding joy in the intricate patterns of advanced coloring books. Her love for the ocean was profound, often reflected in her art and her spontaneous trips to the seaside. Jamie was a true free spirit who believed in the power of the present moment. She was a lover of animals and nature, often spending her time outdoors, basking in the beauty of the world around her. Her generosity was legendary, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

     Jamie was a lifelong learner, having earned her associate degree and was diligently working towards her BS degree at the time of her passing.  She was a beacon of inspiration to those around her, encouraging them to never stop learning and growing.

     Jamie is survived by her loving wife, Sharlene Wilson; her mother, Peggy Darish; her brother, James Boss II (Carla); her sister, Glenda Hilla; her nephews, Tyler Boss, Robert Hilla, Randall Hilla, Riley Hilla; her niece, Jenna Boss; and special family members, Wanda Hartman, Summer Duffee, Channon Duffee, special niece, Jordan Duffee, Rosalina, Michael, and Lyla Garcia. Each of these individuals was a cherished part of Jamie's life, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire them.

     She was preceded in death by her father, James Boss.

     As we remember Jamie, let us be inspired by her zest for life and her unwavering spirit. In the words of Helen Keller, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all." Jamie lived her life as a daring adventure, embracing every moment with courage and joy. Her life was a testament to the power of living fully and loving generously.

     Jamie's life was a beautiful journey, marked by her love for the ocean, her artistic talents, her generosity, and her love for her family. She was a beacon of light in the lives of those she touched, and her spirit will continue to inspire us. As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate her life, remembering the joy she brought into our lives and the lessons she taught us about living fully and loving deeply.
