Jane Freeman Williams

     Ms. Jane Freeman Williams, age 80, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, October 29th, 2019 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama. She was born on June 1st, 1939 in Lanett, Alabama to the late William Ervin Freeman and Adella Ray Freeman.

     Ms. Williams is survived by her son, Alan Williams; her grandchildren, Chasity, Samantha, Collin, Crystal, and Michael Williams; her great grandchild, Landon Williams; her sister, Dahlia (James) Dykes; her nieces, Kim (Les) McMakin and Jan Dykes; her nephew, Russell Davis; her great nieces and nephews, Miranda Buice, Summer (Haven) Gaylor, and Jay Buice; her special friend, Carla Schmidt.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Margaret Whitley and Sue Davis; her brother, Junior Freeman.

     Ms. Williams graduated from Valley High School in 1957. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed growing flowers, and arts and crafts. She was a sweet and caring woman who loved her grandchildren and nieces and nephews very much.

     Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 at 2:00 PM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The Reverend Rusty Letson will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EDT) and Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM (EDT) until the service hour at the funeral home.
