Obituary
Janet N. Poe, 81, of Valley was called to her heavenly home on April 13, 2023.
Mrs. Poe is survived by her sons Greg (Shannon) and Derek. She is also survived by grandchildren, Ivy Sellers (Jesse), Daniel Poe (Sydney) and Brandon Poe. Great grandchildren Ethan and E.J Sellers. Brother Larry Nichols (Jennifer).
Mrs. Poe was preceded in death by her husband Donald Poe and her parents Hattie and Curtis Nichols.
A lifelong resident of Valley, Mrs. Poe was an active member of Plant City Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday school and served on numerous committees. She worked in childcare where she influenced many of the children of Valley where she was known as "Miss Janet".
A memorial service for Mrs. Poe will be held on Saturday, April 22nd, 2023 at 1:00 PM (EST) at Plant City Baptist Church. The Reverend Randall Hamer and the Reverend Brad Reed will officiate. No visitation is planned.
