On February 18th, Janice Adams Phipps was called home to be with her Heavenly Father. She was born on February 19th, 1951 in Valley, Alabama to the late James and Ila Kate Adams.
Janice is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Phipps (Benny) Lima of Cumming, Georgia; son, Adam (Timi Gause) Phipps of Montgomery, Alabama; grandchildren, Olivia Harper Lima and Thatcher Thomas James Phipps; brother, Kenneth Adams.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Beth Adams Smith.
Janice was the kind of person who never met a stranger, she had a smile that could brighten a room, and she had an unwavering sense of optimism. Her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. She loved her children deeply and considered being a mom her greatest accomplishment. Any conversation with Janice, undoubtedly, involved stories of her children and grandchildren.
