Jeanette Anglin

     Jeanette Anglin of Valley, AL, affectionately known as Granny, passed away peacefully on July 21st, 2025, in LaFayette, AL at the age of 88.

     Granny will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her quick-witted humor, and love for her classic country music.

     Her spirit and memories will live on through the stories shared by her loving family and all who knew her. She loved tending to her flowers and plants. She also loved to fish. Using her cane pole, she could snatch a bream out of the creek with the best of them.

     She is survived by her children, Michael Anglin (Pam), Robin Laney, and Roger Anglin; grandchildren, Casey Anglin (Laura), Cody Laney, Eric Laney (Katelyn), Brandon Laney (Jessica), Jescilyn Anglin, Millionnah Anglin, and Austin Anglin; great grandchildren, Brooks Anglin, Baylor Anglin, Jayden Laney, Haley Laney, Brayden Laney, Rhett Laney, Kaleb Laney (Kaylyn), Ally Laney (Gabe), Bentlee Laney, Jelilah Anglin, Hendrixx Sharpe, Onabella Sharpe, Ledgend Sharpe, and Jameson Anglin, and Rylie Yates; sisters, Judy Holliday and Linda Boone (Johnny); nieces and nephews, Sherry Holliday, Randy Holliday (Vicki), Tony Boone (Amy), Kevin Boone (Tanya), Michele Mitcham (Scotty), Jeffrey Allen, Chris Allen, LaJuan and Aleshia.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Callie Allen; brother and sister in law, Jimmy and Shirley Allen, brother in law, Paul Holliday.

     Services for Jeanette will be private.
