Jeanne Michele Chapman Sims-Wynn

     Jeanne Michele Chapman Sims-Wynn, age 60, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2024. Born on June 22, 1964, Jeanne was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and a caring friend to many. Her life was filled with love, family, and countless memories that brought joy to everyone she knew.

     Jeanne is survived by her beloved husband, Dale Wynn; her daughters, Tabitha Williams and Jeorgie Wynn; her sons, Joshua Sims (Jordan), Jordan Sims, Jonathan Wynn, and Lane Wynn; and her treasured grandchildren, Tatum, Emalee, Parker, Makenzie, Khloe, Izzie, William, Mayzie, Nathan, and Avery. She also leaves behind her parents, Charles and Dean Chapman, her brother Chris Chapman and his wife Amy, and her faithful cat, Asher, who was always by her side; and her son in law, Grant Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Stanley Lewis Sims; and her brother, Nathan Chapman.

     Jeanne was one of the most thoughtful and caring people in the lives she touched. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife who brought light and warmth to every gathering. Her talent as an expert party planner and cake baker made every birthday and holiday even more special, and her creativity and attention to detail were unmatched. Jeanne also had a deep love for arts and crafts, spreading her love and joy through everything she touched. Her artistic spirit made even the simplest things beautiful, and she poured her heart into every project, leaving a lasting impression on all who experienced her work.

     She will be remembered for her generous spirit, her unshakeable love for her family, and her ability to make every occasion an extraordinary one. Though her time with us has ended, her legacy of love, creativity, and kindness will continue to live on through those she held most dear.

     A celebration of Jeanne’s life will be held on Friday, September 20th, 2024, at 300 PM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. The Reverend Nannette Brooks will officiate. Jeanne’s family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
