Jennifer G. Wooley

     Mrs. Jennifer G. Wooley, age 71, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Saturday, January 8th, 2022 at her residence.

     Mrs. Wooley was born on August 10th, 1950 in Langdale, Alabama. She was a member of Langdale United Methodist Church and a graduate of Valley High School and Auburn University. She taught school for forty years in Langdale and Fairfax, Alabama and at Gardner Newman Middle School in Lagrange, Georgia. She loved all of her students. After retirement, her favorite responsibility was being “Nonnie” for her two grandsons. She loved her two animals, Gracie and Riley.

     Mrs. Wooley is survived by her son, Jeff Wooley (Carly) of Beulah, Alabama; grandsons, Luke Wooley and Jake Wooley; aunt, Betty Jo Hamil, several cousins.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Tinsley Wooley and her parents, J. W. Gibson and Faye Gibson.

     Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 at 11:00 AM (EST) at Langdale United Methodist Church in Valley. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Dr. Tim Alexander will officiate. Mrs. Wooley’s family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EST) in the Langdale United Methodist Church Family Life Center.
