Joe “JT” Thomas Foster, 74, of Panama City, FL, formerly of Valley, AL passed away on April 29, 2024, at his home.
The visitation and funeral services will be held at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, AL with visitation at 10:00 AM (EDT) on Friday, May 3rd. 2024, and services immediately following in the Chapel. Don Downs of West End Baptist Church, Valley, AL and Bruce Barton of Central Baptist, Panama City, FL will be officiating. Burial will follow at Fairfax Cemetery immediately following the service.
Joe was born in Sylacauga, AL, May 3rd, 1949. Joe is survived by his wife of 18 years Sherri Wood Foster; children, Jackie T. Foster, Randy H. Foster (Amanda), Anthony R. Foster (Elaine), Crystal Grider (Ryan), Michael E. Foster (Misty), and Caleb T. Foster; grandchildren, Paeton Clopp, Ansley Foster, Alissa Foster, Timothy Foster, Jonathan Foster, Savanah Foster, Heaven Foster, Heather Foster, Zakarie Foster, and Gabriel Foster; great grandchildren, Charles Ryan, Sebastian Pinson, and Ila Luna Tucker; brothers, Hershal Foster and Robert Foster; sisters, Virgie Horn and Kathern Fincher; several nieces and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, William N. Foster and Pearlie M. Robinson Foster; son, Joe Thomas Foster, Jr.; several brothers, a sister, and several nieces and nephews.
Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Panama City, FL. He loved God and his family. He was a big Auburn Tigers fan.
