John Robert Bonner, Jr

  John Robert Bonner, Jr, age 50, of Lanett, Alabama, passed away, Saturday, February 28th, 2026.

He was born, April 14th, 1975, to Judy Gunn Bass and John Robert Bonner, Sr. in Alexander City, Alabama.

  John obtained a degree in criminal justice and subsequently became a distinguished member and esteemed veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  Later, he transitioned into his role as a forklift driver for Smurfit Westrock.

  Survivors include, his mother, Judy Gunn Bass, daughters, Rebecca Oden and Larrah Bonner, as well as his granddaughter, Kayleigh Oden.

  Funeral services will be private.
