John Robert "Bobby" Brown, Jr.

     Mr. John Robert “Bobby” Brown, Jr. age 90, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 12th, 2023.

     Bobby was born on April 15th, 1932 to the late John Robert Brown, Sr. and Orie Brown. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church of LaGrange, Georgia. He enjoyed watching the Braves, the Falcons, and the Crimson Tide. He loved going to the beach and most of all, spending time with his family.

     Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Myrtice Brown; and his daughter, Debbie Brown.

     Bobby is survived by his sons, Mike Brown (Allyson) of Valley, Alabama and Jerry Brown of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; his grandchildren, Madyson Brown Messer (Christian), Melissa Murphy Crane (Larry), Haley Brown Brewer (Phillip), and Jamie Brown Peacock (John); his five great grandchildren; his sister, Brenda Poe; his niece, Susan Gross; and his nephew, Ben Poe, Jr.

     Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at 2:00 PM (EST) at Meadoway Gardens Cemetery in LaGrange, Georgia. Bobby’s family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM (EST) until the service hour in the cemetery.
