Johnny Lee Brewer, age 70, of Lanett, Alabama, passed away on March 28, 2026. He was born on April 26, 1955, in Valley, Alabama, and lived a life marked by kindness, loyalty, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys that made each day meaningful.
He was an avid Alabama fan and took great pride in cheering on his team. His enthusiasm for Alabama football was part of what made him such an enjoyable companion, especially when the game was on and the excitement of the season was in full swing. Johnny also loved fishing, and he found peace and happiness in time spent outdoors. Those moments by the water gave him a chance to relax, reflect, and enjoy the beauty of creation in a way that suited his calm and thoughtful nature.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Brewer and Eddie Lee Brewer; his sisters, Betrice McGarrett and Rebecca Ann Brewer; and his brother, Edward Henry Lee Brewer. He is survived by his lifetime friends, Larry Spivey and Linda Kent, who shared in his life and will forever hold his memory close. Their friendship was a meaningful part of his journey, and the bond they shared stands as a testament to the love and loyalty Johnny inspired in others.
Those who knew Johnny will remember his kind heart, his easygoing manner, and the comfort of his presence. He lived his life in a way that reflected care for others and appreciation for the moments that matter most. His memory will remain a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know him, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of family and friends who will continue to cherish the time they shared with him.
Johnny Lee Brewer will be remembered with love, respect, and gratitude for the life he lived and the kindness he showed. Though he is no longer with us, the impact of his life remains, carried forward in the memories, stories, and affection of those who knew him best.
