Joseph "Joe" Neil Wood Obituary

Mr. Joseph “Joe” Neil Wood, age 44, of Lanett, formerly of LaGrange and Manchester, GA., passed away on Sunday, March 8th, 2020 at his residence.

Joe was born on May 30th, 1975 in Opelika, Alabama.

He was a member of the 1994 graduating class of Troup County High School.

He loved the outdoors and could be found kayaking, hiking, or enjoying a bonfire with his friends and family.

Joe was a very social man who was very generous and giving to anyone who needed a little generosity in their lives.

He worked at Mountville Mills in LaGrange, GA.

Joe is survived by his parents, Harold and Cynthia Wood, LaGrange, brother, James Wood, Roanoke.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14th, 2020 at 3:00P.M. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley, Alabama. The Reverend Sam Wood will officiate the service. His family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00P.M. EDT until the service hour.
