Joyce Sutton White

     Mrs. Joyce Sutton White, age 92, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Thursday, March 30th, 2023 in Valley.

     Joyce was born on July 30th, 1930 in Cleburne County, Alabama to the late Lonnie Sutton and Belle Allen Sutton. She was a devoted Christian of the Baptist faith who enjoyed reading her Bible. Her strong faith helped to shape the lady she was. She was all about relationships and cared deeply about her family and friends.

     Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gilbert Rudolph White; siblings, Beulah Sutton Reaves, Lottie Sutton Gaston, Grady Sutton, Louise Sutton, Mildred Sutton Triplett, and Edward Sutton; son-in-law, David Edward Johnson.

     She is survived by her daughter, Sharon White Johnson; son, Timothy White (Emily Dobbs); grandchildren, Allison Hope Johnson, Nicholas White (Brianna), and Sarah White; sister, Mae Sutton Lipham; a host of nieces and nephews.

     Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 2nd, 2023 at 2:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Johnson Memorial Gardens. Mr. Hank Stephens will officiate. Joyce’s family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM (EST) until the service hour at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
