Julia Nell Flurry, known affectionately as Julia to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2024, in Auburn, AL, at the age of 53.

Born on December 18, 1970, in Tallassee, AL, Julia's vibrant spirit and loving nature touched the lives of all who knew her.

Services will be held, 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Faith Evangelistic Church, 3020 Ben Brown Rd, Valley, AL, 36854.  Visitation will be held at the church at 10:30 A.M.  

Julia is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Roger and Deborah Flurry, and her brother, Terry Flurry.

Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her devoted fiancé, Michael Wyrosdick, and her loving children: Chris Whitfield (Jodi), Joshua Flurry (Jessica G.), and Brittany Flurry. Julia's joy was multiplied by her grandchildren, McKinlee, Brycen, Houston, Clayton, Brooklyn, Bethany, and Damon, who will miss their grandmother's warmth and unconditional love.

She also leaves behind her sister, Lisa Tyson (Mike), and sister-in-law, Stephanie Flurry, along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who will fondly remember Julia's friendly and spirited nature.

Julia's life was a testament to her loving character. She had an innate ability to make everyone around her feel special and valued. Her laughter was infectious, and her presence could light up any room. Julia's interests were a reflection of her generous and caring personality. She found immense joy in shopping, not just for herself, but as a means of bringing happiness to others.

Above all, Julia's world revolved around her children and grandchildren. Her guidance and support were unwavering, and she instilled in her family the importance of love, kindness, and togetherness. Those who knew Julia will remember her as a woman of great strength and compassion. She faced life's challenges with grace and always managed to see the beauty in the world around her. Julia's legacy will live on in the hearts of those she has left behind, and her spirit will continue to inspire acts of kindness and friendship. As we say goodbye to Julia Nell Flurry, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of love and cherished moments.

Her memory will be a beacon of joy and love for her family and friends, and she will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have been a part of her life.
