Ken Cook

     Mr. Ken Cook, age 71, of Cusseta, AL passed away on Thursday, February 14th, 2019 at Emory Hospital Midtown in Atlanta, GA. He was born on May 31st, 1947 in Langdale, AL.

     Mr. Cook is survived by his wife, Jennifer Cook; his three children, Tracie Cook, Rob (Tina) Cook, and Felicia (Mike) Smith; his step daughter, Leslie Carmichael; his eight grandchildren, Jessica Jernigan, Kristen (Chris) Grimes, Cody Cook, Kaleb Cook, Abbie Cook, Alison Cutts, Erica Cutts, and John Carmichael; his three great grandchildren, Samiya Grimes, Gabriel Grimes, and Paxton Grimes; his sister-in-law, Margaret Cook; his four nieces, Evelyn, Jane Ellen, Jan, and Beth.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Warner Cook and Evelyn Irene Cook; two brothers, Robert Warner Cook, Jr. and Phillip Marion Cook. Mr. Cook was an avid University of Alabama fan who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and photography. He retired from UPS after 31 years of service as a driver. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.

     Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 18th, 2019 at 3:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 2:00 PM (EST) until the service hour at the funeral home.
