Kristie Elaine Ward

     Kristie Elaine Ward, affectionately known as Kristie, passed away peacefully at her residence in Valley, Alabama, on August 31, 2024, at the age of 52. A treasured soul, born on July 14,1972, in Langdale, Alabama, Kristie's zest for life and her love for her family knew no bounds.

     She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Carr; her sons Trent Barber (Madison), Cody Barber, and Chance Bozeman; her proud mother, Faye Bozeman Williams (Jim); her devoted brothers, Jeff Bozeman, Tony Bozeman (Robin), and her twin brother, Chris "Bubba" Bozeman (Tina). Her life was further enriched by the laughter and love of her three grandsons; a host of nieces and nephews; special extended family members Amanda Foster and Fred Foster; her cherished chi-weenie, Star. Kristie rekindles in spirit with her late father, Dan Bozeman, and her daughter, her beloved, "Dancing Angel", Gina Brooke Foster, who both preceded her in death.

     Kristie lived with an adventurous heart and was a graduate of Sanford Community College. Her career was a reflection of her passions; she was not only an avid Harley Davidson rider but also a certified Harley mechanic. Kristie reveled in the thrill of the open road, the tranquility of the river, the serenity of the beach, and the simple joys of camping. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family, imparting moments of joy, handy skills, and boundless kindness.

     Kristie's legacy is engraved in the hearts of those who knew her. She was a spirit of adventure, a beacon of warmth, and the embodiment of a life well-lived. Her departure leaves a void, but her memory will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her. Kristie Elaine Ward will be dearly missed, forever loved, and eternally admired for the vivacious spirit and kind heart she shared with the world.
