Larry Thornton, also known as "Big Larry", age 60, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Saturday, November 7th, 2020.
Larry was born in Franklin, Georgia on March 13th, 1960 to the late Wayne Thornton and Velma Dukes Thornton.
He was of the Baptist faith.
For those who knew "Big Larry", you will understand he was always himself - "Big Larry". He was an outgoing country boy who enjoyed life and was easy to please.
He loved motorcycles, working on cars, music, and spending time at the beach.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; sister, Ann Lites; children, Shannon, Jody, Josh, Michael, Jason and "Little Larry"; 21 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made in Larry's memory to the American Cancer Society.
