Mr. Larry Lee Tyson, of Valley died Saturday, July 4, 2020 at home surrounded by his family members.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 7th ,2020 at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home at a 11:00A.M. EDT with interment in Johnson Memorial Gardens.  The Reverend Wayne Prickett will be officiating. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday morning from 10:00A.M. EDT until 11:00A.M. EDT. 

Mr. Tyson is survived by his wife, Opal Tyson, of Valley; sister, Sharon (Donald) Harmon; two daughters, Kathy (Tim) Brand, West Point, Georgia, Amy (David)  Burkett, Laredo, Texas; step daughter, Tracy (Stanley) Shaw, step-son, Caleb (Blakey) Brown; seven grandchildren, Tyson Bailey, Meggan Trevino, Joshua(Abigail) Burkett, Hannah (Isai) Burkett, Esther Burkett, & Rebekah Burkett, three step grandchildren, Katherine & Timothy Shaw & Olivia Brown; three great grandchildren, Elisha, Nyomi, & Alitza Treviño.

He was born August 24th,1944 in Landale, Alabama. Mr. Tyson was a well-known tile setter with the Tyson Tile Company in Lanett, Alabama. He loved doing woodwork and making wooden Disney characters to give away to children and his church family. He attended Three Pines Independent Church.
