Mrs. Lennie Dutton Edwards, 83, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Saturday, May 15th, 2021 at Diversicare of Lanett. She was born on November 26th, 1937 in Langdale, Alabama.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by her sons, Horace Jerome (Laura) Worthy, Gerald Wayne (Monica Weaver) Jennings, Steve (Pam Stearns) Jennings, and Christopher Lynn Jennings; adopted daughter, Carolyn Faircloth; grandchildren, Ashley, Bentley, Rainer, Marissa, and LeAnne; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ann Kaythryn, Sidney, Emmy, and Robert; sister, Janice Fields; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Hill; nephew, Thomas (Scott) Hill; niece, Jody Hill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bo Edwards; brother, Tommy Hill; daughters-in-law, Gwendolyn Jennings and Mary Libby Holloway.
Mrs. Edwards is a member of the First Baptist Church of West Point. She worked for a number of years for West Point Pepperell and then went to work for Milliken in LaGrange, Georgia until her retirement. She was a selfless lady who was well loved and never met a stranger.
