Letha Ann Wesson

     Mrs. Letha Ann Wesson, age 75, of Huguley, Alabama passed away on Thursday, January 19th, 2023 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.

     Mrs. Wesson was born on April 7th, 1947. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed going to several area churches and reading her Bible. She was a dog lover and enjoyed watching Alabama football and NASCAR with her family.

     Mrs. Wesson is survived by her husband, Donald Wesson; son, Ivan Royce Wesson; grandchildren, Lillian Rose Pennington and Lee Ralph Pennington; great grandchildren, Crystal Nicole Wesson Pennington and Zeke Lee Wesson; daughter-in-law, Beth Wesson.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, X.E. and Mable Mitchell; sons, Stacy Lee Wesson and Mitchell Davis Wesson; grandparents, Roy and Lola Peggram.

     Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 23rd, 2023 at 2:00 PM (EST) at the graveside in Shady Grove Cemetery. Pastor Ron Williams will officiate. Mrs. Wesson’s family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Lanett, Alabama.
